Our Painting Process
We use the same process for both our exterior and interior painting projects. The time it will take will vary depending on the size of the job, but we always make sure to work as efficiently as possible.
- Paint Selection – Either you can choose your own paint or we can help you select the paint you need for your project. When choosing paint we will need to know the color, finish, brand, and level of quality (start exploring paint colors at Lowes or Home Depot)
- Protection of Area – We will cover all furniture, floors, doorways, and vents with plastic sheeting, tape, or drop cloths. We take care to protect every inch of your home.
- Surface Preparation/Repairs – Our painters will prepare the surface for interior painting by sealing stains, filling and/or repairing drywall holes and cracks, sanding uneven surfaces. This step creates a smooth, clean surface necessary for a beautiful finish.
- Painting – Depending on your surface we will either spray, roll, or paint your surface by hand. Most surfaces require two layers of paint.
- Clean Up – We leave all areas of your home the way we found them (with the exception of your new paint of course!). We will sweep your floors, wipe down surfaces, and clean the work area.
